Probably one of the most talked about mods for the mk3 vr and a very confusing area.

FK highsports:(Height adjustable only), seem to be the most popular,

However spending around £150 more you can have height and ride adjustment on koni springs with the FK Konigsports.

Are these worth spending the extra on?

Basically, prices range from £300 - £800 but do you get what you pay for? i mean has any one had the silverline upgrade on the FK's & if so, does it really make a lot of difference? !dodge

i just have FK highsports, they are very good imo (i think i paid £400 ish from Venom next day delivery), not harsh or crashy over bumps and firm enough for having a "play" very good adjustment, and really nice quality, konigsports are probably a bit better again with the extra bump/rebound adjustment on the koni insert, imo H&R are very good coilovers (£800) but i had them on my rallye and wouldnt say they were any better than the FK highsports i have now! for half the price! apparantly the silverline ones resist corrosion a lot better?? think they all get a hammering in this countrys climate!

I've driven a couple of VRs with Highsports, then drove one with Konigsports, and knew I needed Konigs! Mine have been on a couple of months now, and after a few plays with the damping, I have got a quite decent ride quality (never will be great with chunky ARBs and 40 profile tyres!), and it handles very nicely.

Compared to mine, I found cars with Highsports a bit bouncy unless they ran quite a high ride height.
