It looks like i've sold the VR, but one of the conditions of sale is that i get the drivers window working (obviously!). I've already changed the regulator as that had died, but now the motor has died. You can hear it trying to work, but not doing actually moving. Does anyone know how i can remove the regulator without being able to drop the window to access the clamp bolts? I just can't get to them and without getting the reg out, i can't take the motor off......TIA Link to post Share on other sites

If motor is clicking though you can usually get them to work a bit by tapping motor with small hammer whilst pressing button to work window. Link to post Share on other sites
