antera309 3
I'm after an "OEM Plus" look but am undecided on wheels. Which do you think look best?OZ Aristos (R32 Wheels) in 18"RH ZW1 in 17" (not OEM look but nice wheels!!)Audi TT Comps in 17"Audi RS4s in 17"BBS RCs in 17"

B6MFD 0
what rims you got on at the mo mate? and why you changing them?
antera309 3
what rims you got on at the mo mate? and why you changing them?Antera 309s in 17" . Just fancied a change for the show season..RH ZW1 seem to be the front runners at the moment. Trust you guys to pick the most expensive ones!! LOL
purple highline monster 0
does that mean youll change your name to RH ZW 1 in the not too distant future mate have you been qouted on the ZW1`S ??? the rc`s look good too! but the dish type rims look good on a cabby though imo, just a thought but i suppose BBS LM`S are just tooooo dear! but they would look awesome on your motor! 8)
antera309 3
The side-on view doesn't really do the RH ZW1's justice - when viewed from an angle you can see the dish effect more. Lovely wheels.BBS LMs kick ass, but are only available in 8.5x18" upwards, fitting these to a Mk3 would require heavy arch mods, probably why you don't see many Mk3s with them on. Seen them on Mk4s though and they look great. But just for you then, Nick:
petervr6 0
the r32 wheels look way to big foe the car imo.but the rc or comps look pukka.
Matt W 4
18" is too big for a Mk3 makes it look like a roller skate! I voted for the RS4 wheels not overly common and i think they are closer to the OEM+ look!
purple highline monster 0
here you go Nick, a side view of some zw1`s
Seademon 0
You can get the LM's in 17's but are quite rare! Might be worth waiting til a set comes up? I dont think the comps suit the convertible shape & Im not a fan of the Audi wheels on the Mk3 so I would say the RC's which I voted for or some LM's :0)
jezmoz 0
You can buy bbs LM 17's here , not cheap thoughhttp://www.performancealloys.com/details.asp?procedure=wheel&id_wheels='BBS%20LM'&id_wheels_manufacturers='BBS'&id_wheels_sizes='17x7.5'&price='434'&permission=233421180
VR6Rich 3
I recon the polished TT comps suit the blue paint.
six appeal 53
RH ZW1's on a Mk3, What are you thinking ;o)Simon.
six appeal 53
Have a look at my ad in the For Sale section for some mint wheels for sale.Simon.
coullstar 2
ZW1 & TT Comps are too common, as are any of the Audi replicas. The RC's are nice and timeless but nothing new. I know there have been a few cars going about with them but there are some nice Merc wheels that would look good. Brabus 3 spoke!!!
antera309 3
I must admit, I am swaying towards the R32s at the moment. They're very rare on Mk3s and don't look too bad at all IMO:
RIX 0
like the bumper on the grey one,the lower part is totaly diff.and whats been made to the tail gate.
VR6Lee 1
Don't like any of the Audi wheels so common its like owning a MKIV. It is hard as buying a house looking for a set of wheels :? I'm after a third set and looking at DAAT D64's £1,100 and AXE AP25's £980.00 !ill x) But I like erm cause they are different.I've got the 17" BBS RC's and Santa Monicas.I like to be different and most VWMKIII's are, which I like to see 8) Which tells me we MKIII owners all respect their own and others individuality on beautifying ones car !heart Not like the VWMKIV's inbreds, they all look the bleeding same at show's except their ferking number plates. Matt W 4
like the bumper on the grey one' date='the lower part is totaly diff.and whats been made to the tail gate.[/quote']I think as it looks like a US car, they appear to have modded the tailgate to look more like a Euro one! jezmoz 0
18's look stupid on a mk3 imo
VRmonster 1
i think the R32 wheels suit it actually, wanted to size up some for mine but went of the 18s because of the acceleration/handling aspect, id imagine theyd go ok with rolled arches. theyre only 7.5 wide aren't they? would just need lowering back to its original body height to hide some tyre and keep its currently great stance
