p1vsg 0 Posted January 21, 2006 Report Share Posted January 21, 2006 i just got a diagnostic check on my abs system as the abs light kept lighting up. two fault codes came up:00285 - abs sensor (i think)and 01276 - hydraulic brake pump.my car's a 97 VR6 obd2i been told that by changing the sensor it might resolve the hydraulic brake problem. do you think this could be true? im having doubts im afraid.if the brake pump needs changing will the ecu need changing at the same time??thanx Link to post Share on other sites
vr6turbo 27 Posted January 21, 2006 Report Share Posted January 21, 2006 I had the same problems, mine turned out to be a fuse blown on the relay which feeds the hydraulic unit 30amp i think :! this is under the dash drivers side above the fuse boxi went to vw for the wiring diagrams which they photocopiedhope this solves at least half of your problems Link to post Share on other sites
