Basically the rubber boot at the base of the aerial cracks and breaks letting water in. Normally you'd have to buy a whole aerial just to get this rubber boot from VAG.Now for around 10quid you can get just the rubber boot from VAG parts! !lol Here's a direct link to the item and remember Premium members are eligible to 10% discount from VAGparts too! 8) Click Here! I cannot beleive that VW get away with charging for an entire aerial when the base rubber is quite literally a push on fit. I had to repair mine when it split!
