purple highline monster 0
later bumpers are all one piece, i also thought the early ones were too?? never looked real closely mind!
Matt W 4
Bumpers are one piece......if your refering to the texture on top it is not removalable. It can be sanded, primered and painted but a lot of work to get it looking right. Just visit your scrapies and get a fully colour coded one and have it resprayed if you can't find a matching one. petervr6 0
whats this about then he saying the textured bit is seperate. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-GOLF-GTI-MK3-FRONT-BUMPER-BRAND-NEW-SPLITTER_W0QQitemZ4606761713QQcategoryZ9889QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Matt W 4
I have no idea but i have textured bumpers on both Golf 3 and they are both one piece bumpers. So i can only assume they are in fact not genuine VW bumpers and just from GSF. I also checked ETKA (VW parts catalogue) and in the version i have again it doesn't list the front or rear bumper as having a seperate part for the textured top.
purple highline monster 0
must be a replacement bumper! cant see how it would fit either??? likes been suggested, go to a scrappies and get a later set of bumpers, even gl`s etc had them, so should be a few around, just dont get vento ones! they are slightly different and they dont fit a golf
petervr6 0
ye think i will do that coz i want to smooth it and also smooth the number plate bit and were the lights go on the front bumper just did the rear just waiting to get painted but ye i want a bumper thats already colour coded as this would be easy to paint after and cheaper.lol
Petesvw 0
I thought it was just the rear end that was different on ventos ?!
purple highline monster 0
the way it fits is different very slightly i think, and the under spolier is different, so wont fit a golf.
