Slim 0
I was actually thinking of selling mine a few months ago and was looking for new cars. I soon changed my mind when I couldn't actually find anything I wanted that I would like better. I considered an Audi S4 but the running costs are astronomical, and looked at Merc CLK coupe's but they all seem to be autos. Considered an Audi S3 but they're far too bland and boring.I quite fancy the look of the Mk5 Golf twin charger though, and I'm going to look into whether I can afford one when they are released. The New Scirocco looks tempting too, but I think that'll cost a bit too much.
antera309 3
I'm totally converted to VAG now. My next car will be either a Golf mk4 R32, Golf Mk5 GTi or an Audi A3 (new shape) in 3.2 or 2.0T form.Agreed with Slim on the Audi S4 & RS4. They're great cars, but if you're gonna pay those sort of running costs, you may as well buy a Porsche 911.
TVR6 0
What about a Cupra R? Something different but still from the VAG stable and by all accounts better than the GTIs and as good if not better than the S3 for much less money...
jonvr6highline 0
The wife and I have just bought a fairly new Land Rover Freelander. It is practical and as we're expecting a baby any day now, it is an ideal car. Wouldn't mind a Touareg. My neighbour has just a bought V10 diesel one - its a beast! At the same time as having a new car, we still get to keep the VR6 as a second car, so I am very happy! 8) Whatever the replacement is for the VR6 one day, it'll probably be VAG! 8)

VR6Lee 1
I love my VR not gonna change It period. As it winds my ex-wife up as we paid for It on a loan and put the car in my name. Then when the divorce came along I sold it to my girlfriend for £50 she couldn't touch it and she had to pay the loan LOL. Also Love our TVR only allowed out in the summer but we are thinking of changing the XR3i this year !ill few options open, only window shopping at the new Polo GTI, new Ford Focus, Audi A3 TDi. vr6matt 0
I took me ages to decide I what I want next, First it was a honda civic type r - but then i decided they were to plasticy and i didnt like the interior. Second it was an S3 (still considering ththis with a jabbasport remap), then I looked at S4's - but they do not seem special enough - just a fast saloon and would not want it to ruin the experience of my dream of an RS4 if i ever get one sooo... i have set myself on an Audi RS2. It will either be that or a chipped s3 - whatever is around and what I take a fancy to when i decide to sell my VR. Will be a while though I love my VR

purple highline monster 0
i think i would get a blue R32, silver cars in general are far too common and the red R32`s were only produced for the american market originaly (along with a grey and indigo dark blue) a few were special ordered in red here, vw uk never a listed red as a colour for R32, only blue, black and silver, have seen a few red ones on auto trader for sale though, only trouble with red cars is they go pink if not looked after! seadog 0
yeah silver cars r common but when waxed to within an inch of there life look the dogs danglies, theres a red r32 in the little town i`m from and it catchs my eye everytime just cause u hardly ever see them! but if 1 does come up in my price range i probably wouldn`t notice the colour till i got it home!!
