baby veron 0 Posted February 2, 2006 Report Share Posted February 2, 2006 Ive recently purchased a ecu & reader coil key etc (coded to each other) from a company called Saxon Motorsport (run cars in VR6 cup), the guy tells me that it will be ok to use on any 12v VR6 with no dizzy yet time and time again of sending it back and getting him to check it out i still cant get my VR to run the ECU is from a corrado, ive always thought that you need the same ecu ie part number or they will not work, but this guys know his stuff or so it seams........any comments? cheers guys & girls Link to post Share on other sites
kilokilla 0 Posted February 3, 2006 Report Share Posted February 3, 2006 you could find you need correct engine loom to go with the other bits you have bought and maf aswell but you could find that the reason your car is not running is down to something else other than these parts what went wrong for you to want to change these parts mate. baby veron 0 Posted February 4, 2006 Author Report Share Posted February 4, 2006 nothing wrong with the ecu ive got car was running fine, the new one has a re- mapped chip in it from a vento that run in the VR6 cup, thought it would be a easy upgrade but things are never that easy!!!!! ps it came with loom and lamba probe etc but the guys at Saxon Motorsport said it would work fine.....
