matth76 1
According to Stealth the above suspension combo drops the golf vr6 30mm (on H&R springs) and 35mm (on Eibach) but really improves the handling. Who here has either combo, and more importantly who has pics of their golf vr on this drop !lol ?I think we should have a sticky thread of everyone's suspension set up and a pic of the side on view to show the drop/look, plus brief review about how good the set up and the handling is. andy 0
I had Konis/Eibachs on my Golf and found it way too harsh for my local roads. I've now got Konis/H&Rs on my Corrado and its a fair bit more forgiving. Both handle very well over stock.
stuey 0
I agree, Koni/Eibach combo is good on smooth roads, but crap roads along with 17" wheels not much fun. The shocks are set softest all round, so could be the springs are too stiff.

Ride & handling is very good except on really rough surfaces. The one on the left is on 15's and has Koni coilovers set at about 50mm drop. Ride is great on smooth roads & it handles like a go-kart.Rough roads are a bit unpleasant but I love the way it handles !lol The Corrado is on 16's with standard (4X4 stylee) suspension (but not for long!). I'm going with Stealth on the Corrado & they'll be fitting the Koni/H&R setup in a couple of weeks.
VRTrickster 0
I find the Koni H&R setup very good in the handling department and have fitted this setup to my VR6 Corrado due to high recomendations! A bit thuddery over crappy bumpy roads but probably half as bad as some kits!
