matrix 0
all went well untill i needed to undo the tie rod, i nearly got the nut undone then the thread started turning aswell so i ended up cutting the thread off now i need a new tie rod.next had to drill out the screw holding the brake disc on, if that wasnt enough the driveshaft wouldent pull out of the wheel bearing housing so i ended up getting wound up and beating shit out of it now i have to re tap the thread on the end and still havent got the driveshaft out of the housing yet.also noted that turning the driveshaft in the housing there doesent seem to be any roughness or tightness with the bearing but all the noise and pulling is on that side so i hope i havent done all this for nothing so now i have to take the whole lot to automotive solutions tomorrow and hopefully they can pull the driveshaft free i will prob get them to fit the new bearing aswell.just out of curiosity why are the d/s so tight in the housing i remember doing the same on a mk2 and had no problems.
