Fitting a Jetex cat-back

Recommended Posts

Can anyone who has had first hand experience tell me how hard or easy it is to fit a catback jetex system, are there any pointers i should know or be aware of as i am going to fit one this weekend, and i just want to be prepared for any obstacles and common problems? thanks in advance

i ordered the 2 box cat back system i fitted mine this weekend the only thing i had to do was on the first box replacement pipe it has had a hanger bracket on the top of the pipe that i had to cut off. The exhaust comes with a hanger and a bolt that u screw in the bottom of the pipe .probably will make more sence when u open the box and have a go at fitting it . mine fits as good as factory fit exhaust im really pleased with it . mind its very quiet u hardly know its on there .

oh yes! mine sounds awesome now after 6 months,1st and second its ripping loud! its really quite easy to fit, the hardest bit as always is lineing it all up and getting the back box square! as said above the midle section comes with a hanger welded to the pipe you dont need (for a 16v) they supply a new centre bolt on hangar, just make sure its around the right way, the instructions are helpfull, i also replaced all my exhaust rubbers as they were a bit fooked!
