Will be looking for 200bhp+ out of it which I know is a little easier with the 'Rado but for the £k mark they all seem to be massive milers !sad whereas the Golfs are pretty reasonable. The 'Rado is the much nicer looking but I could pick up a much newer Golf.... decisions, decisions... Link to post Share on other sites

Seademon 0 Posted March 9, 2006 Report Share Posted March 9, 2006 Golfs newer than an N reg are usually OBD2 - any engine with a distributor will be OBD1.All VR6 Corrado's are OBD1. The OBD2 engines have slightly more power.I'd go for the Golf but i am biased! Link to post Share on other sites

Judging by the throttle body and square side repeaters, it is OBD1, yet it has a 288mm brake set up rather than 280mm.I am guessing that this was right at the crossing point between OBD1 & 2 Link to post Share on other sites
