jonnyedinburgh 0
I've managed to bust the little ear washer jet nozzle (the little bit with the pin hole in it that washer fluid comes out of). How do i replace this part as i am a bit tired of having a filthy rear window. thanks
SankysVR6 1
just had a look on ETKA and it looks the washer jet nozzle is attached to the motor.
jonnyedinburgh 0
I think you're right. i've looked a bit closer by removing the black plastic cover and it looks like the nozzle is attached directly to the motor assembly. i hope this part can be replaced without having to replace the whole motor, you'd think such a small item would be easy to replace! jonnyedinburgh 0
just sourced the part from the main dealer. the nozzle and tube come as part of a kit and cost about £4.00, not bad and they will have it in for tomorrow.
thegoth 5
The nozzle should just pull out from the outside using a pair of mole grips. When mine was blocked I took all the inside trim off before realising.TG
francisjonno 2
This is a bit of a nightmare job unless you've got enough of the old nozzle left to pull on with mole grips.Make sure spary some wd40, or similar, and let it soak in, to help loosen it b4 you start pulling.I ended up having to remove the motor and drill out the old nozzle :@
jonnyedinburgh 0
sorted this afternoon. screwed a small screw into the hole of the broken nozzle and pulled it out with mole grips. that was easy. it was harder putting the new nozzle in it only goes in so far at first then you have to tap it home gently with a small pin hammer. sorted
