vento vr6 0
hi,i own a vento vr6 on an 'm' its chipped, exhaust, filter and im looking for a bit more power, thinking of a de-cat,has any1 done this, and was it worth it?
Earwig 89
It will add a performance increase but it will only be minimal. You will only be looking at a few extra ponies and then you have the MOT hassle to deal with......
vento vr6 0
im a mechanic so its not to much hassle to put it back on,any other ideas on more power?
dubloke 4
6 branch fannymold to go with the de-cat and maybe a pair of cams or a p&p head! about as far as you can go without resorting to overbores or forced induction! the vr6 is inherently expensive to get big ponies out of! Earwig 89
When you say you already have a "filter" do you mean panel filter? Or induction?A good induction Kit will give you a few more horses to and also add a grunty sound. Also a fairly cheap thing to do.
vento vr6 0
any ideas how much the fannymold would be and the best place to get it?

katconcarne 0
tuningleaderuk on the bay does good prices (for raceland stuff), i noticed a huge difference in performance from the de-cat, it seemed to unleash the full capability of the jetex 2.5" system that i'd just fitted, well worth it! and i haven't even fitted my 6 branch yet... can't wait!manifolds are about £180, de-cat about £60... bargain!
