acf8181 0
Your best bet for a VR is to chuck Koni T/A's on. and Eibach springs. Don't mess about wasting your money on anything else.ARB's wise' date=' you want to be looking at Eibach - bout 200 quid for a set.[/quote']...without a doubt the best all round set up, if only i could afford it!and it is okay to use uprated springs on standard dampers (it's 100 times better than standard springs). and it doesn't wear you dampers out quickly...people who think it does are wrong, if their's wore out it was because they just wore out, in other words it was unrelated to the springs (i mean vr's shocks, especially front ones, dont' exactly last that long do they?!). binliner 0
I have to disagree with that... I found that standard shocks and stiffer springs were ok until you hit a dip at any speed and the spring compressed the dampers were too soft to cope and it was like a pogo stick.. not good at all! acf8181 0
yeah, you do get the pogp stick effect over big bumps...but its not a big deal really. as long as your smooth its fine (which is the best way to drive anyway)...i have managed to get it hoping at 130mph round a corner before (most people wouldn't go round that corner at that speed...but i'm practicing for my racing next year and like to push myself!)...was fun! VR6Steve 0
I have a set of Weitec suspension on mine which is damping adjustable. Its been on the car a couple of months and am quite happy with it. Its lowered just enough to look good and avoid grounding out.Cost about £
