Maz 0
Just on the very very off chance... The siren part of my alarm needs replacing (ie, no noise) before I can get a certificate to prove it's working existance for the insurance company. It's a logic 900, fitted as standard to MkIII's I believe. If anyone has one and is scrapping it or knows where I can source out the replacement bit I'd be very grateful. VW don't make them anymore so can't get bit from them... Otherwise it's a new alarm for me, which could possibly be the best thing? If so, what's the choice when it comes to alarms???Many thanksMadge
cadguy77 0
have you tried a new battery in the siren (if any)?
thegoth 5
The 900 sounders have a switch on them so you can disable the noise, for when disconnecting the car battery etc.Do you have a small round key with your master fobs?
