spanky 0
When my VR is warm and I start it up occasionally the revs dip. It fires up fine it just dips below idle before returning to around 650rpm which is were it idles fine. It tends to be if you leave it longer than 5 mins it doesn't do it at any other time and drives spot on. I've cleaned the throttle body and air mass meter etc and is a bit better than it was (the battery light used to flash on for a second before it gets back to idle) but still not right! any ideas anyone? cheers
kempj1 0
Holy mousse mate - idling at 6500 rpm - what sort of mods you running? ;-) Is there some kind of engine speed sensor used by the ECU to know when it's idling - possibly on the cam - "hall sender"? Maybe that needs cleaned / replaced. Someone else should butt who is usre about this, but I'm just remembering things from other threads...
spanky 0
My VR is standard apart from being on Koni adjustable struts and Eibach springs. I thought all VR's idle low down don't they. Already cleaned the hall sender mate!
