Has anyone got a idea how much i am looking to have a gearbox fitted to my vr6 has i have got a gearbox fot it.

i fitted mine in my vr, unfortuantly this one is on its way out too

but its not by no stretch the hardest box to change

If you do replace the clutch, ake sure you get a decent replacement. You don't really need to upgrade it, but don't try and save money be getting a *cheap* 3rd party replacement.

i got a black diamond clutch for mine.. and im well happy with it

The gearbox was fine it was not jumping out of gear or hard to get into gear the car was making a grinding noise when to turned left or right and when i took the car to garage they checked the oil in the gearbox and little bits of metal come out with the oil anyone else had this with there gearbox

sounds like one of your gear pulls have shreaded m8 maybe?

hmmm neva changed a hydralic controled jobby but id hazard a guess its not that diff but just time consuming? right guys?

not a great deal diff to changing a non hydralic m8, just unbolt the slave, make sure u dont touch the peddle while the slave is unbolted.

i ordered a gearbox from a brackers on tues 300 pounds 31000 miles and i just give them a ring to see where it is and guess what somebody dropped it cracked it so he said.why the f**k could they not ring me.

ps any one got a spare gearbox doing nothing ~ x) ( !sad %-6

If your taking the box out, you want to put lighten flywheel in. Well worth the MOD.
