Editorial / Events Report Positions Available

With the club rapidly expanding week upon week, there is now a requirement for the following positions within the Committee;

Editorial - The person(s) would be responsible for construction of a quarterly newsletter that contains club information, event reports and any information that would be beneficial for premium members (experience in Microsoft Word is required).

Event Reporter - The person(s) would be responsible for reporting on events that have occurred, a report preferably with photo's will be published on the website and the quarterly newsletter (digital photography skills required).

if i happend to have very little skill of either (to my knowledge) but went to a show and took some pics and made up a report, would this still be looked upon and maybe make the newsletter/site? jus i do sometimes get a bit of free time and find myself bored browsing the net, so would be nice to have something to do. but i dont think i could be committed enough to take up the role full time. sorry.

As long as you have email facilitly and can send you reports and photos to someone who can put it all toghther :-)

Jason that would be great especially seeing your in the north and I'm in the south :-) We definalty need someone who can report on the shows and do some write up about them for the club. We can discuss all of this at the AGM later this year :-)

having considered taking on this position, i really dont think i will have the time to commit to it fully as i have other varied commitments as well. however, if there was no objections i wouldn't mind being a contributor to articles and show reports/pictures at those that others cant make etc. what do you think guys?

I think everybody should be able to contribute to the club so mat there will be no problem with you writing a few show reports what we do need is for someone to compile all the reports together and put together small newsletters which we can email to Premier members on a regular basis.

All of this will have to be discussed at the AGM :-)

I can do reports for shows that I got to, I have done a couple for another site, links below, if you want to see what they are like.

I must admit, I'd never thought about doing it, but was asked and they seem to have come out quite well.

Speaking to Tommy today and he seems to think they are good, and suggested that I do it, so here I am
