HI all,

Wonder if any one has anything other to say about my misfire.

Car is missing up to about 3000 rpm on, notice it more pulling away rather than changing up. Think from what advice i have had that it is a simple task of replaing the leads and plugs, car is due for service so will have this done anyway but i was wondering if there could be something else, any ideas or do you think the above is correct ... ???

i would also say if its not plugs and leads and it has one, the coil packs on these cars are another reknowned failure and cause a misfire underload. it wont do it in the workshop unless really bad but is real noticeable on the road, going up incline and coming out of roundabouts in to high a gear are prime examples to test! try the plugs and leads first tho as they are the cheaper option, or get it on a 1552 machine as 6pot says!
