Hi guys..

I've got a set of 16 inch BBS splits from a MK4 Golf and I want to split them so I can mirror polish the outer rims.

Where can I get the tool for the bolts?

I've tried BBS - they told me they don't supply them because it would be dangerous??? :S

I've tried allen keys and knackered about five!!!

Any ideas guys????

Eat this - Yes I'm sure they're 2 piece - not fakeys...

Jezmoz - the guy I bought them off said they were from MK4 GTi Golf.

They are true split rims and they are BBS. They are 16*6.5 et42 rims...

Any help guys.......

hi i have these wheels too and you need a spline socket ,male type ,size about 10mm not sure.

and the outer rim does,nt come off, only center of wheel comes out of rim, with all bolts off,use a rubber malet only.

also use thread lock on refitting.

Hi Sharky, Incase you're still unsure, these are splitties, the outer dish doesn't come off like the old skool BBS RM's, just the face of the wheel. They are similar to the polo Gti rim (except 5 stud) My friend had his split and the faces powder coated so they do come apart... good luck mate!
