fritzenberg 3
this has been bugging me for bit now.i`ve noticed that the space between my rear wheels and the arches is different. i.e the right wheel looks closer to the arch than the left.can this be sorted or is something bent beyond repair?when i got the car 2.5yrs ago i got a vw mechanic to check it over and he said it was a good car so what`s the deal? spindat45 0
If you have non adjustable suspension then you probably have a weak or broken coil spring on one side which could be why the car is sitting a bit lower on that side. Have you noticed any clonking noises or instability when driving, expecially in and out of corners and on bumpy roads? Kevin
nd 0
My partners got the same problem the passenger side wheel if that's the one you mean (m)you cant get your fingers inside the arch but on the drivers side you can,and when you turn a corner its scraping the arch inside and the wheel actually touches the arch aswell. He was told to change the size of his tyers by a vw mechanic, but we think he needs a new suspension though :S what a pain in the ass cars are :-d
