Changing Inlet Manifold......

Recommended Posts

I am buying a new Inlet manifold which i intend to polish up so it's nice and shiny but how easy is it for me to do the swap onto the car myself?

I can't imagine it being a hard thing to do but I always worry in case something goes wrong and I get stuck..........

I am all Ears............ :-)

Mark.

The rule of thumb is whenever you expose a gasket, or take it out, you should replace it. Course, not many people do this at all and don't see any side effects, it's more for piece of mind. If you want to replace them, depending on how old they are, you will need a throttle body gasket and a intake manifold gasket.

If you get stuck, I have a few pictures of the removal I took myself a while ago.
