JohnP 0
I've just purchased a set of Tarox discs and pads, and find it a little strange that the disc to pad mating area is rather different. This shouldn't be a problem, but has anyone else got these or know of this issue?CheersJohn
JohnP 0
OK. So why does my picture not show? It's 400 x 300 and only 27K in size. This works on other sites I visit?
Eat this 2
fixed looks very odd almost like its a front disc but smaller rear pad ur wasting a big % of the disk as the pad doesnt touch it
JohnP 0
Those pads are the standard size for the front, 280 mm disc. The discs are 288 mm, so does the 288mm disc have different size pads?

mk3anni 0
Yeah the 288mm pads are bigger than the 280's, also they sit in the caliper/carrier differently....at least, the ones i've seen do!!

Slim 0
You didn't just buy 288mm discs to replace your standard 280mm ones did you?
JohnP 0
I bought these some time ago, not checking what size discs I had on the car. It turns out I had 280mm, and these are 288mm. Therefore I'm on the look out for some 288mm calipers and carriers to replace the older 280mm calipers and carriers.
