phonecian 0
My car, manufactured Feb 1995, has this air intake snorkel:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v243/tellabello/VR-6/dsc00924shrunk2.jpgIts now burned through at the bottom. Searching Ebay for a replacement I've found a number of these - also said to be for VR6s: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v243/tellabello/VR-6/snorkel1.jpgIs the second version a late model modification that substitutes OK for the first or is it a different creature all together? Does anyone know?Thanksphonecian

antera309 3
The second picture is the early-type rubber snorkel (pre-1994). This will fit the later OBD1 engines like yours and is less prone to cracking than the later-type plastic one.My engine is 1995 and runs one of the rubber snorkels no problem.
