Fitting Schrick Manifold what other mod's?

Afternoon All,

getting my shrick fitted soon and was thinking what other mods would be worth doing @ the same time, after reading past posts 268 cams would match the schrick very well and a remap anything else I should consider?

Add an induction kit (BMC CDA or Pipercross seem to be the best) for a few more BHP at the top end and better throttle response. Have the ECU remapped once cams, manifold & filter are fitted.

they say 264s are the best,especially if you are planning to keep the C and go FI at a later date.

thanks for that think I'll be going for the BMC CDA as there is good feedback on this,

With this combination I should be around the 220BHP mark don't ya think?

apd you mention 264s but next year I plan to get the rado charged would the 264s work better or 268s

If your after some scrhick 268s & BMC filter, i will have these for Sale, but won't be till September.

57orm:i have 264s,shrick,v2 in mine.works a treat in a 2.9 golf!

checked my portfolio of bills.248 shrick cams and not 264s.248s a supposed to be the best match for a sc and shrick manifold.
