And also the description in English says 3 ribs, but the picture shows two ribs and if I look at the German language version of the same product it says 2 rib, so I think it's just a translation mistake. :$ Has anyone ordered one? I just don't want to order something from Germany and end up with the wrong one when it arrives. £31 exclusing delivery sounds quite reasonable too, I'm not sure if there will be import duty slapped on it too.ThanksMark Link to post Share on other sites

MarkP 0 Posted July 4, 2006 Author Report Share Posted July 4, 2006 I got it from Volksbits.. worked out about £57 with postage. I got it sprayed and I fitted it tonight. It wasn't a particularly good fit to be honest, not compared to the standard one. I had to twist it and prod it and bend it to make it fit but it's on there now and seems to be okay.Got my suspension being fitted next weekend, so it's starting to look a little less standard. MarkP 0 Posted July 5, 2006 Author Report Share Posted July 5, 2006 Actually I knew there was something that I was going to ask. When removing the original grill it was really hard work. Is there a particular technique for removing it? What I did was unclip the bits attached to the front of the car above the radiator, but there was no way of reaching the others att he bottom to I just had to pull the grill REALLY hard for ages, that loosed the bottom ones but the ones at the far left and right edges beneath the headlights were a complete nightmare, I really had to pull and try to wedge my fingers between the front of the car the the grill to pull. I thought i was going to break it several times. I expect I'll want to get some crystal Mk4 style headlights at some point and I don't fancy pulling the JOM one off in the same manor as I'm bound to break it.
