thegoth 5
Hiya,My car has developed a drone when moving. Sounds like it's coming from the passenger side of the transmission: It changes in tone with speed and does it clutch up, clutch down, in gear, in neutral, acclerating and coasting. The obvious verdict would be a wheel bearing, and the wheel is indeed stiff. But the other wheels is slightly stiff too and more worringly, I feel, is that inner front tyre squeals when turning tightly.I have had a bad diff in a rear wheel vehicle but that only complained when accelerating/powering the wheels and would subside when coasting. Is it the same with FWD diffs?Any help or input appreciated.TheGothP.s. it has had a lot of abuse on fast bends and God awful Belguim roads recently.
