Richierich's VR6 Highline!
Ickyketseddie and 3 others reacted to richierich37 for a topic
I usually write a few lines of rubbish but tonight I'll let the photos do the talking....... At Dubshed it's first outing it took the looooosers prize in the rotten old mk3 golf category!!!! Now all that's left to do is my full boot install and new sounds! After that it will be finished and stored away only to be used once in a blue moon!!!! A complete waste of time and money!4 points -
Do any women drive vr6's or is it all man power

perhaps there could be a club calendar made by the vr6 girlz and they could pose in the nud but having various parts of vr6's hiding their modesty in a cheeky way! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points -
Some people remind me of this. Me included. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk2 points

Richierich's VR6 Highline!
Surreyvr6 reacted to richierich37 for a topic
Yes I was "chuffed" with it finished.......one of the cleanest mk3 golfs I've seen, no rot, no welding, genuine 51k miles, a lot of time, effort and money to build it as good as I could, trying to powdercoat or paint anything that needed it to preserve it's life, renew as much as I could using quality parts etc. Now it's done, I've lost interest but still like it! The other mk3 golfs it was competing against were better and cleaner............. For you to buy it tomorrow it would need to be up for sale and tbh it's too soon to even think about selling it! Thanks for the positive comments guys1 point -

It would probably look a bit better if it wasn't matte but there's a bit too much smoothing for my liking Sent from my LT26i using Tapatalk1 point

Shame, someone's either gone to a lot of effort or paid someone a fair bit for the work, but the result? Hmmm My immediate thought is if the battery goes flat he is fooked1 point

Sounds more like a gearbox failure to me if it only does it 2nd. If the clutch is going you will find the car is down on power in every gear and slipping would cause it to rev a lot more. If its the thrust bearing start the car leave it in neutral and press your clutch you should feel judder through the pedal without having to engage a gear.1 point
