To run a spacer you need the multi layered metal head gasket which you then split and sandwich the plate between the two outers2 points

VW headgasket I would imagine 2mm would be fine but I don't know enough about it tbh I had one think it was 2.5mm but I was going to run a turbo.1 point

Good news with the brakes they are a right bugger on the mk3 I had the same thing with mine, then like you say more and more driving made it better and better1 point -

Firs of all I have to say yo did a great Work, with work done on your car, that gives me an idea where the oil leaking may come from on my car, it´s a great help you have posted all the problems you had deal, so people like me that lives in Mexico can find easily the problems on our VRs.1 point -

A little bit of an update. Started pulling all the auxiliary stuff off my 2.8 block cleaned and painted some bits and polished my alternator up. Put my new oil cooler on my 2.9 block and bolted the auxiliaries on too. Then I flattened and polished my inlet manifold and it came out lovely [emoji4] Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk1 point -
