Cool, SWVR6 meet

Ok, lets get this thread back on track. The turbo is fitted, a low 5psi boost set up and an increase in fuel pressure for now to see how things go. The whole job was done in a week, all intercooler pipes were welded by Russ Fellows and turbo fitting/assistance by Simon Cooper at Central VW. I have a few bits to change, first is the dump valve, this has to be changed for a plumb back, which I have bought, second it some heat shielding and better ventilation, also the oil cooler still needs fitting. The thermostat, I want a lower temp opening stat, where would I get one from? I collect

Isn't that part of the PCV? I haven't got that on mine. Unplug it, take the pipe off it and plug the pipe with something and chuck the valve. Job done [emoji6]

Was down cornwall for a long weekend, didn't get too much done, as wanted to spend some time with my dog and family but did manage to take the vr out for a couple of spins as it may be my last oppertunity until next year and it will be sorn again at the end of the month so needed to hear that roar a few last times before she got put to bed for a while. Apart from that I managed a bit more polishing on my spare rocker cover and put the hella all reds which I'm really pleased with how they look on the car All reds on Looking good in the sun before a quick drive

I got there in the end! Slight battle getting the old one off and getting annoyed with the rain but... New exhaust is fitted!!

Picked up the new exhaust today! I say new, it's 2nd hand but its in really good nick and wasn't a bad price either!
