A few people on here may know me already.... My name's Andy ( aka Blocky ) , and i've always had a soft spot for VR6's. Having built a couple of VR turbos, one of which i owned, in a Corrado. Plus also being a member of the RTOC ( renault turbo owners club ) it seemed the next step.... Here's a quick pic of the 'rado. I'll put some more in another thread. I've also just sold the 2.7 biturbo S4 i was running, and bought a 3.2 TT, so still staying faithful to the VR. The Plan is to turbocharge the TT next spring/summer. Watch this space.... :-) So, This is gonna be a cut and paste from the cli1 point

We're trailer tenting, so would be a proper mission to tour with it, it's bad enough putting it up once!!!! I must admit though, maybe when the kids are old enough to do they're own hols touring could be something we'd have a go at. We did narbonne a couple of years back, went over the millau viaduct on the way down and the did a daytrip to barca. That was ok down there but we prefer the Cannes area for its beaches etc..... And as for the boats!1 point

It's a touch underpowered for some of the alpine passes but she did the trick recommend it over a tent anytime having done both! its gorgeous around there, some serious boats aswell! we did from Spain across the whole south coast last year. Cassis is a lovely little coastal town if you end up that far west. Are you driving back? Gorges du Verdon are worthwhile along with areas around Geneva(thonon les bains) and annecy the lakes are warm and unbelievably clear!!1 point

And here we go! The replacement. It took me about 2 months to sort out a replacement car after the old one was written off. Ended up driving the old family dodge ram with 850k km on it. Them diesels will last forever! But without further delay here she was when I first got it into my parkade! Needed a bit of a detail, so got to work on it. First pass on half the hood with clay bar After getting most of it done. And of course that damn plate holder is back... efffff. And the side markers, those gotta go!! Will be paint matching them soon.. Then tonight I did some more detailing and d1 point

By now i had a fully painted rolling chassis. Look at the rear track !! Ok, so now lets get that motor back in the bay By this time, a list of 'other' jobs was starting to build. The project had to go on hold to clear the backlog. Time passed on, and every day i had to see her sat, cold and miserable on the drive , waiting, waiting and waiting.......until April 2011. Since then, some real progress has been made. Fingers crossed, another couple of months should see her on the road. These are the most recent pics i have of the build, and i'll keep posting pictures of various random1 point
