I would imagine the easiest way would be to drop the sump off but I didn't think it was that hard unbolting rear mount and raising engine with a jack and a bit of wood under the sump.

I have a TT filler flap in my MK3 golf..... Don't remember ever seeing one on a Corrado though ? If there are some they would be few and far between.... When we did mine, we "Lapped" it in to the rear quarter as we felt this was the best way to avoid to much sinkage. Bare in mind though that it will likely see some sinkage over time, but if the paint is good enough and plenty of laquer it should buff up just nicely.
