  2. hi Guys thought i best do an update on this thread as its been so long. So basically i came home 5 weeks ago to have an operation on my shoulder. it has put me out of action for a few weeks but i have still managed to get a lot of work done on the car thanks to some good friends. the last time i posted on here i had spun a big end bearing on my freshly built engine I had since been out and spent a small fortune on new parts to build a pretty much brand spanking new engine. I was about half way through the engine build when i last left you. Well i have finally finished building the engine

    Events for 2015

Hi, I am starting to plan the clubs events for the next year with this season being practically over. Is there any shows where you would like to have a club stand where we already don't? Do you have any feedback for our stands? We will be hosting our own day next year in association with some other clubs. This will be along the lines of a rolling road day and a mega meet like our previous at the historic brooklands racetrack. We will have stands etc for the obvious big ones such as ultimate dubs, Gti festival, VW festival in Leeds etc. Any input or feedback (positive or negative) apprecia

  5. Did you ask them which MAF housing you should be using? Block 31 on vag com shows wideband lambda readings.

  7. Your ECU is ME7, this has a wideband sensor. Unplugging it will only make things worse. The best thing you can do is call your software supplier and verify with them what is going on.

  8. Your little girl was a star last time mate. She was no problem at all. My lads decided they wanted to argue and fight over the front seat home last time so I'm coming on me own this time. It's gonna have to be an early set off for me. Probably leave about half 5. Ouch. Haha. Mark, 9am is probably the best time for everyone to meet at Tesco mate.

    Issues after Turboing

@michael 5556 thanks for the welcome. No I do not. I believe it is still using the stock O2 sensors. Is this usually recommended for these set ups? I thought the tuning of the ECU would take care of the A/F ratio. Another thing i forgot to mention is that on fresh/cold starts the car starts and idles rough (revving high and back low intermittently). Would i be right in assuming this would probably be a result of the A/F reading rich. Thanks
