    Clay cloth ?

Yeah I got given one buy our valeting supplier at work to try as I was really sceptical about them, but I was seriously proved wrong they're really good........... and strangely addictive to use lol! Just ask Bealieboy he's probably been using his on his neighbours cars or something now he loves it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. I was just thinking equal amounts of money cabbs, you know, keeping it fair. Your mrs has a 1300 bar holiday and you have 1300 bar set of wheels, that way everyone's a winner! If you want to know anything on how to get what you want from a woman or dodge flying crockery, you can read it in my latest self help book; Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway! Daft newbie question

So glad she doesn't have access this vr6oc because she would like the idea of that. That could end up expensive pal. I was thinking chocolates and flowers. Lol. And rotiforms would be my ideal wheels pal but there mega expensive. They do actually do a copy of them on rimstyle.com. I could always get some genuine centre caps then. Haha. Or option 2 would be to peck bennyk's head and get him to keep an eye out for some. Lol. On the other hand I think the start at 17" which might not be a good idea. I need to find some what fill the arches but won't rub when I drop it down. Sent from my iPad

  7. Who said romance was dead? I think it's a great idea cabbs, I can't imagine why your mrs isn't up for it, after all, she could bugger off to Mexico for 2 weeks all inclusive, why don't you suggest that? I reckon she'd go for it, and then you can have a set of rotiforms! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. Linking up the the corrado forum sounds like a good idea. The more cars the better.. Maybe set a date on the clubs event calendar? That should set it in stone and get the ball rolling..

Hi all Just bought myself a tidy mystic blue VR6 at the weekend, so thought i should register on the site. Its always been a dream of mine to own a VR6 since i bought my gti ive got plans for the car in motion already, but thought i would post a picture of her now. got a schrick manifold, some 268 cams, tubular manifold and a shielded BCM CDA air filter to go on her in due course i'm also thinking of swapping over the phase 1 vento front end from my daily slag (the one behind in the pic). below is how i'm wanting it to look in the future.

    Clay cloth ?

I should work for the manufacturer of these clay cloths, I Flippin love mine. I reckon a pm to Bennyk and an exchange of beer vouchers might produce one like mine! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Clay cloth ?

As far as my small knowledge of car detailing goes, a clay bar is rubbed over clean paintwork to lift imperfections such as tree sap, overspray and fall out from the running of day to day general car journeys. Clay bars are often used with a lubricant to make the clay slide over the paint and you can often see the said imperfection stuck to the clay. This is a time consuming job and although there are great rewards from the effort and time spent clay barring, it is a bit tricky to master. Enter the clay cloth; a strange rubbery type surface on one side of a microfibre cloth, this is

  13. I don't see it being a problem what you bring. Your representing the club at the end of the day. Now we need to boycott the organiser while this threads on fire and get something set in stone. It also seems that most would do this in the early months of 2015. Micheal5556 is in charge I believe. :-) Is there a poke button on here.......... Haha

  14. The Italian method is normally used for blowing cobwebs out of the Mrs car after it's been to the shops and pottering about for a month or 2. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. Few more parts ordered. Wiechers front and rear strut braces Poly bushes next buy and this thing should be handling pretty good. Also received my front indicators not sure if I'm going to run both or just the outer ones I didn't go for crystal ones as I want to keep it looking more from the 90's. US side repeaters And a omp boss I'm not the best at taking pics so some of these have been half inched off the internet haha. Steelies get picked up Wednesday to be banded by Banded Wheels Essex, I'll post up some pics once I get them back.

  20. Nah they are cheap. Just labour really. Talking a 2 - 3 hours max if have thought but places like stealth will be pretty efficient. Give them a call and tell them pete from vr6oc recommended you to them. Wouldn't bother repairing to be honest when there are GOOD recon ones available. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  21. Ta very much mate so I would be better of getting one of them rarther than the 200 to 290 that I'm getting quoted to repair mine , I shall give them a bell tomorrow thanks , and stretch bolts Hopfully ain't that expensive lol as I'm now skint , thanks again Pete

  22. I had one from stealth racing who are a distributor for http://www.powerracksdirect.co.uk Been running one since my new engine and all good. Avoid GSF racks. Even vince has commented on the quality of these Think the price of the rack is 180 then you need to factor the labour, you will need to drop the rack though to fit, so new stretch bolts required too.

  30. Nice one. It's a good car, glad it's gone to an enthusiastic owner. Not sure why the person who bought it from him moved it on so fast, maybe an old VW wasn't his bag.

  32. I also used the UM tube and fitted a Mocal thermostatically controlled sandwich plate to feed a 19 row Mocal oil cooler.I never even thought about the benefits of using the original cooler to heat the oil until matey at UM sais so. Looks trick and no clearance issues
