  1. When installing the spacer plate, like i have done on a billion of them its important to use the copper spray. Here is a trick that not too many people know about. The best way to install a spacer plate is using the MK4 VR6 head gasket. This gasket as you know is very much different from the MK3 one, and increases compression on MK3s because its thinner. But here is the sweet part. The MK4 head gasket is the only one you can split into 2. Cut the rivets and split into 2. Copper spray both, including the plate. Place one gasket on bottom and other on top of plate and torque down while copper sp

    Yes J. Get these bought. A good set are like chickens teeth these days mate. A nice HID kit on them and some LED side light bulbs will set them off. But for God sake don't let Bealieboy anywhere near them. That's another story mate. Lol

  5. Need to find the time to work out the cam sensor problem To get to the cam sprockets I need to get rocker cover off So I inlet needs to come off so bloody front end off!!! Joys of 24v See if I can beat the 229 bhp without the fault code

Few tips I have learned Get parts and goodies sent to friends/parents houses and fit them there and hopefully they won't notice If they do, don't tell them the actual price that they cost you Don't complain to your Mrs about how much you spend on fuel In summery just lie about everything you spend on your car and don't let them catch you sat staring and day dreaming about how good your car is looking after you have just given it the full works clean polish and wax because women seem to think that any attention and money that you have to give should be going on them and only them.
