thats a damn shame, my highlight of last time was yours spitting out blue flames! Put me down for the south mimms meet then pick up 'ibs' and others at toddington? cheers steve3 points

Thanks for the reply I'm gonna have a look at it on Saturday as its too cold and dark after work! Hopefully it should sort it by swapping the wires around! So I don't need to add any wires??2 points

Well, I'm going to record Country file so I can watch it when I get home! My mrs says my vr reminds her of being in a plane ! [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

Songs of praise!! NOT to be missed. I'm sure she'll be showing up, the new technique for co-piloting is to sit with eyes firmly closed only concentrating on the loud music and pretend that we're flying. Makes for a poor map reader. Our collective twaddle indeed..2 points

What better things are there to do on a Sunday then? And surely you mean our twaddle! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

Lol co-pilot has been informed but confirmed that it's too far away to say. As long as there aren't any narrow angle V6 diesel engines running I'm sure she'll be happy listening to your twaddle2 points

If the engine was out of the car on a stand maybe. It's a big job and you are looking at around 8 hours labour.1 point

No wires will need to be added. If you use a simple bulb tester you'll find which wire is permanent live and then when you turn the ignition on which is the switched live. You should be able to wiggle the said terminals from the connector block and swap the positions, as Pete said. It'll all make sense once you make a start. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Rotary engined prop from WW11 point

that's the true test isn't it, now it's official. Now I noticed that you/she didn't specify whether the plane has a prop or not...1 point

The KR is the predecessor to the ABF and is 1.8...hence my Q I have both a KR and ABF sat under my bench and just wondered as they both look the same....1 point -

Youre going anti clock on the m25? Could meet at South mimms services, myself and most likely Bennyk too. What time do we need to be at the venue for? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Cor dear oh dear, listen to it! If I've got to borrow money to go to a club event, please shoot me! Cabbs, all jokes aside, I don't want to name names,I spent so much money on food and drink at gti fest, you would not believe. I'm thinking, if I don't roll, I'll have enough money to sustain the aforementioned nameless person this time [emoji2] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Tighter than cramp you are beagleboy. Me and Bennyk will go halves if the misses won't give you no doe.1 point

I would be very interested in a tricked version, I don't want to register my vag-com since it can only be registered one 1 or 2 computers and i'm constantly changing laptops or re-installing operating systems. So I have downloaded VCDS lite from rosstech and have a cheap cable, I can scan and clear codes and also access some of the measuring blocks, datalog etc. but not everything. I need the full version to check my timing chain stretch1 point

You can come on your BMX for me mate. Haha. I'll add you to the spectating list pal along with that beagleboy. Haha1 point

Bring the tuneless Vr and your co-pilot, she can enjoy another riveting noisy day standing around in the cold listening to a load of twaddle from the South East section of the OC! [emoji2]Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Welcome along mate, if you go on the full web version of our site you'll find a couple of vr6 buyers guides there which may worth a read. Best of luck.1 point

You done really well ibs. Must of been hard work considering you've worked in that little garage. Haha. This is something I'd like to know with the bembro's. Just acquired a set off a pals cupra. He tells me to use the HEL braided line kit for the VR6. I've emailed HEL to confirm but had no reply yet. I'll post back once I receive a responce pal. :-)1 point

The date has been confirmed with Stealth for the 1st March, there is a max of 25 cars due to new rolling road software takes a little longer to setup between runs. The cost is £25 for 2 power runs, I have agreed with Vince that we can have 5 reserve cars in the event some people cannot run on the rollers or there is time at the end of the day. If your car is reasonably low you will not be able to run unless you can adjust the height, we had 3-4 cars unable to run during the last rolling road due to this reason. More information will be posted soon [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapat1 point
