  1. It may not be a good idea to have members locate themselves by actual house or Street location. Not all users of this forum will be honest and if they happened to find out where a particular car was kept or if there were some nice parts for sale somewhere, the temptation might be too much to resist. Maybe there should be a warning or pop up before adding location to alert members who might not have thought of that. Otherwise add your location by the first half of your postcode or by the town centre of the town you are in just to add a bit of vagueness as to where you actually keep your pride

  3. Chains are a straight forward job, once you get to them. 2.5 hrs is way off the mark unless on a stand as Pete says. It's a while since I've done any but your looking at nearly 2 hrs to get the gearbox out, factoring in brew stops and stress fags.

  4. You may find that the new head unit has a short loom attached to it which plugs into the car loom. If so, you may well find that there are bullet connectors in the red and yellow wires between the plug and the actual unit. If there are, then simply open them and join yellow to red and red to yellow. The problem is not with the head unit, it's just the way old VWs are wired and you will always have this problem when fitting a modern head unit............... it's just a case of joining red to yellow and yellow to red somehow.

Hi Guys, So as a few of you might have already seen, We have updated the club store with new goodies! We have freshly designed polo shirts and warm cosy hoodies, ready for the winter months! All in sizes from S-XXl. Along with these new items, we are still carrying the VR6OC window stickers, both inside and outside formats. I went to the last one and there weren't a happy VR6OC soul in site. This is normally a good event so we need to get a good group together this time.
