    Cone filter

I bought 2 bmc's in the past second hand for between £65 & £85 no cold air feed, the 24 valve does not have as much induction roar standard so that's possibly why its not as loud after fitting a bmc http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Golf-Corrado-VR6-bmc-cda-Induction-Kit-filter-/121559382486?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1c4d80f9d6

Little well big'ish update lol Got the dash back in and most of it connected up. Just didn't have a clue which cables go where on the heater controls. Even took it out in the units yard to see what's what. Needs a abs sersor or clean. Some progress pics. Putting a dash back in is the worse jigsaw puzzle ever :hyst

  7. To give you an idea of what it would cost as I'm doing a similar thing at the moment, head rebuild with skim, valve guides stem seals and new lifters £360. Tensioners and chains around £190, + obviously the 2.9 engine and labour to put it all together you're probably getting on for, or more than likely well over £1000. If I were confident that the engine was a good'un and all the above had been done I think I wouldn't be afraid to give £500 or maybe more for it. I know you can buy a good runner 2.8 for probably £150 of ebay or whatever, but you'd want to at least put new chains on that + whate

Yes mate he bought that off his brother Rocko Chris he's got a serious wr1 Scoob running 745 bhp right beast of a car . I was going to buy his r32 for the wife but just before we exchanged money there was an engine fault code so the deal fell through . Hats off to the guy though he did ring and tell me . He could of just sold me the car . Check out this vid of his brothers car at spa , mental quick for a 2.0 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hMqKTG3Sysc

  10. Check this link out for possible routes! http://www.pistonheads.com/features/ph-mydreamdrive I've done most of these routes, perhaps we pick one as they also have stop offs along the way. My 2 cents

  11. I'd fit new ones if it was me, I think you can re use them but i'm a bit anal so tend to fit new stuff when possible. I also buy them from ebay, Seller Unit15, they sell some good parts. I also haggled the price of them down a bit as i was buying one of their new vr6 blocks at the same time.

    Cone filter

Going to stick a new cone on and see how that goes. Got a Stroeve kit on at the minute so quick polish of the Ally intake pipe should smarten things up. The BDA I had lined up would need connecting hose, brackets etc.. so not worth the hassle.

    Oemandmore wings

May be worth giving him a ring, he's really helpful and got a lot connection's and places he gets parts from. I'm sure if there were wings anywhere for a corrado he'd have a good chance of getting hold of em!

  17. So, I picked these up at the SWDubs Mega Meet Also I fitted my MK3.5 clocks, and got the fuel light working. Handy for a VR lol I also found enough time to split down the BBS RX2's I picked up with the rest of my Anniversary bits. They are ready to get acid dipped and polish the lips now! And whilst I was having a day messing with the VR, I mocked up my Image splits face mounted to see how they fitted and weather I liked them like that..... Really happy with the fitment, they are flush all round and face mounted they are 16x7.5 and 8.5 now just the choice o

  19. Hi Kieran. Welcome to the club. I think you may struggle mate in the fact that you don't have any or very little driving experience. If you going to shop around I would certainly go direct to the insurer as apposed to comparison websites. Ie Go compare, compare the market etc. the comparison websites share your info and once quoted you don't stand a chance mate. Before quoting, take in account things that would lower your premium. 1. Limited mileage. 2. Cat 1 alarm system and immobiliser. 3. Tracking system. 4. Where your vehicle is kept over night. 5. Adding additional drivers to lower t

  20. The alarm is made by scorpion, I used to fit them years ago. The frequency may be strong but every now and then have to be adjusted to synchronise it back to the main receiver

  21. Just remember a while back you saying your fella had a mk4 so thought it may have been his. In all fairness them fobs were crap anyway. I went through about three of them on my GTI. If you drop them they crack the little circuit boards. If you don't sort it let me know and I'll speak to my pal. He works for VW.
