  1. Save your money mate. Those in line fuel cats do nothing. You will see benefit from running some redex and basic serving as opposed to terracleaning. I'm still a bit sceptical about that as I've not seen any proven benefits. Take a look at this video

  9. hi, when i fitted my 263's i put new oem lifters (as suggested by Schimmel). i have read somewhere that with the 268's you need to upgrade the springs and lifters to be able to use the higher revving ability of the cams. maybe drop a line to Vince at stealth? steve

    rear windows playing up

As Pete said, I've actually had it in a mk3 a few years ago where the wiring had broken loose from the B-pillar to the rear door. Not a massive job to put right to be honest, if of course that's what your problem is.

  16. Got another set of wishbones. 2nd hand VW's one. As I think even after a refurbish there better metal, and better made than aftermarket versions. Sanded them back using a flap wheel on drill to remove most of the paint and rust. Welded and extended the drop link mounts. As the anti roll catches my chassis when roll very low or when parked up. So I can still use and replace standard drop links. (it wasn't finished welded in the photo) Welded up few areas where the seam was incomplete, near where the bushes go. Also removed the upper circular lip, as this used to touch the sub frame. Plus a few
