I'd probably charge around £150-£175 to cut that out weld a small plate in a smooth it off and repaint it,only problem is you may have to lose the door sill protecter and they are rare as rocking horse $h/t! I know because I've been trying to buy one for months!!!!

Problem solved I got delivered a 2.8 tb which apparently has been ported. So fitted it which turn out to be a mare as one Allen key bolt has been rounded. So once fitted I took it out on a run and no hestitation at all. It's smooth right up the Rev range and holds its revs So I'm a very happy chappie lol Going for a two hour, 100 mile drive in the morning for a nice run. And then the same back on Sunday.

Yeah only covered 2000ish miles. That was always backwards and forwards to the garage lol!!

New user. Someone throw me a bone of advice. Where's the best place to get a vr6 engine regardless of miles as long as it ticks over standard. Not really after after car. Tranny or any thing could do with the cams cranks etc. And the engine itself EBay is pretty far pickups. And gumtree has far based pre tuned fanatics projects for sale. Not on road atm. Anyone have any spare engines flying around?
