Where to go to get my turbo setup fitted?
cactusjackslade and 2 others reacted to ibs for a topic
Got the car running Saturday night. Drove it around for a few hours and all seems good. Received the silicone hose and connectors to plumb in a recirculating dump valve so will be doing that tonight then tomorrow I'm booked in with a garage who will be fitting the LCR Brembos, ultimax discs, ferrodo ds2500 pads, braided lines and filling the system with ATE blue brake fluid. At the same time I will get the car raised a bit at the front and then stick on the mk1 TT Ronals which I had done in LC9Z paint.3 points -
Thought I'd update this a bit, been busy buying things and not actually doing much to the car, apart from getting this painted up and the b%$t+rd polybushes fitted into it[emoji34]....... Its times like those when I remember why I'm a bodywork man! Then I unfortunately discovered that a good mate was breaking a VF charged VR so popped round to see what it was all about and maybe have a couple of bits from it, then got all excited about the charger and somehow ending up buying the car[emoji15]! After much thought well about 30 seconds and the fact that Bealieboy was egging me on because he wan2 points

absolutely loving this thread!! Ive got myself a Schrick manifold to go on in due course, how have you routed the HT leads? as the manifold seems to just leave them to flap about like a sausage in a bucket.... some kind words of knowledge or pics would be great2 points -
When I got in from work, all my clothes were on the bed and I asked, am I leaving? She replied, yes! Turned out I just had to sort out a load of rags for polishing etc. PHEW!1 point

Got in touch with them today guys...... Hi Aaron - The club stands booked up about two months ago, but if you drop me an email with club name, number of cars, contact email, contact number and contact name I'll put you on the reserve list - alex@fitteduk.com1 point -
Mine used to trickle down the footwell in the drivers side. You could see a faint trickle by the latch to pop the bonnet. With that in mind I dumped a load of silicone around the area where the cable goes into the engin bay in the scuttle panel. Still leaked...1 point

Spray gun stand I made With my cheapy spray gun. Top section is for a filter to sit in when filling spray gun. Top coat polyurethane, meant to very hard wearing, some people say harder wearing than powder coat. As it's used on oil rigs, and cranes at sea. But I will find out over time. Hopefully it's brilliant. It sets almost like rubber. It's made from polyurethane which is a type of rubber compound. And commonly used to make poly bushes, which everyone knows last longer than normal bushes. Plus a hook to hang spray gun in booth. One with the heater, as I usally move it to take a better1 point

Well I will have 4 month to build it so should be doable. It's the management side that's going to be a pain do i convert to obd2 (I think I have most of the conversion) and use united Motorsport software or do I find a supplier for obd1.1 point
