  1. I should have really made some videos tonight coz boy I haven't had this much fun in ages. Got the car back from the garage next door to me as they were fitting the brakes. I've got the TT wheels put on now wrapped in a fresh set of Yokohama Parada Spec 2 tyres. Got home and finished off the last couple of bits I had left on the wotbox. So now I have launch control [emoji16]. Took it out for a little test and had it set at 3500 rpm. Felt good launching it but the wheels just spun and I didn't gain any traction in first gear so I might try and launch it around 3000 rpm next time. The other abso

  3. Strange that I can never find a coat hanger when I need one lol Lol cheers bealieboy, but I can now see why people are turboing vr's and if you don't want to or haven't got facilities to do it yourself then I would recommend stealths kit. I haven't driven it since the weekend what with work.. Can't wait to get in it again. Will try and get some pictures up sat.

    New owner 1st ever vw

Hi ive just bought my 1st ever vw.Had a variety of cars over the last 20yrs or so.Just sold my Subaru turbo as I needed something that I could buy,do my own work on and reliable and not having to worry and spend constant money on the turbo etc.So I came across a 2003 golf v6 4motion 5dr black,141k full service history,2 owners. So I snapped it up.Love it,plenty of grunt and gadgets I never had in the Scooby.Just changed the oil/filter/air filter.New aerial, new wheel centre cap,and new arm rest.Thats it..Quite thirsty though I'd say but I really only do town runs etc..But the fuel isn't a issue

  7. Hi all, need to change my top mounts. Went OEM last time and they lasted all of 18 months, anyone have any suggestions for something with longevity? poor gas mileage

Is it a golf? Where are you from? I'm running similar set up and I easy get 150+ on half tank of fuel more if I take it easy Let us know what ecu is in the car obd1 obd2 We need more details if you're can get them It will pass emissions as the ecu can adapt for part throttle but when your driving fast it will be overfueling it's coc off Even then it's not straight forward to swap engines so go ask the garage who did the work

  10. I've been thinking about this a bit more and have decided to put my car on the rollers. I'd like to see what it's making with the 440cc injectors and then see how much of a difference a custom map will make with the addition of 630cc injectors and methanol injection. So could you put me on the rolling list please cabbs.
