When removing the the wires and hoses your probably best to label everything with a bit of tape or take photos. Will be ten times easier to re-fit if everything's marked up.2 points

Hi all, need some Rado owners input. Pete isn't taking pm's. My golf VR is looking untidy now (not my fault!) so got my eye on a sweet, highly modded Rado. Don't need a daily anymore, so going to break mine. My main question is what to expect driving wise? Compared to the golf, what am I expecting? All comments welcome. Cheers Steve1 point

Ben, no, you can buy fecked up t-shirts like that and cabbs has one for each day of the week! Goodness knows what his hair would look like if he actually had any! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]1 point

No he can't have because he would also have said to wear a short sleeved t-shirt over the top of a long sleeved one and have stupid multicoloured floppy hair[emoji23][emoji106]Oh and to lie about how much everything cost.......... hold on we all do that already![emoji3]1 point

It's a modified Holset HY35, it will be on boost below 3000 and max boost at around 3000! The 2.5 L engine its tested on gives 500ft/lb at about 3200rpm, so the VR will be a little under this. The BHP isn't the worry for me, it's the torque! It will bent rods, but I'm not sure if the pistons will hold out as well as it won't be going much above 500 and i can't see it making any more heat that would muller the pistons!1 point

It's all personal preference I think. I second 17's. What I've run on most of my golfs. But a lot of people do run 16's. More important than wheels size for handling, is camber, toe in toe out, rolling centre, and wheel centre lines.1 point

Try vw parts international mate at least I think that's what there called1 point

Well, Ive fitted 2 patterned wings, right and left and the right one is perfect, the left one has a slight gap between the bonnet but that's all, other than that they went on easy , which surprised me!1 point
