    Mk3 front wings

    They're the Same wings fella, only difference is square or oval side repeater holes. Just don't buy cabriolet ones!

  2. Went and picked this lot up from Northampton today, popped up on eBay so I snapped them up, been after a set for a while but only seen them come up without door cards, going to need a serious clean though! Popped a door card on with the highline door pocket;

    Introduction (ZIG)

    Hello and welcome! Good to see you took my advice and signed up. There is plenty of information on this club to get you going and don't forget there is tons of dicount codes for various places including service parts, brakes, cleaning products insurance etc. These all become available to fully paid members. Not to mention the bonus sticker and welcome pack! If memory serves me correctly its only £10 and I saved double that on my first order of car care products using our discount code

    Introduction (ZIG)

    Hey guys my name is Kshitij, i'm guessing almost everyone of you guys won't be able to pronounce my name so you can just call me Zig. I'm new to this site and with the v6s. I own a 2001 mk4 golf v6 4 motion which i love. (insurance is killing me though as I am 20 and will be 21 in Jan next year). I would like to broaden my knowledge about the engine and the whole car generally. My previous car was mk4 1.6 golf which is dreadful but I still loved it to bits. I was patiently waiting to be able to afford a v6 and am ready to start modding the car for pure performance (with a little bit of looks

    That's what I'm hoping. Can only really find threads on people doing it with corrado. But have read it's easier on the golf. Have you got a coilpack vr6? Was wondering how the coil pack itself is mounted..

    Cool! I now embarrassingly recall your other post. Should be a great upgrade, particularly with obd2! [emoji106]

    Engine removal

    I've sourced a kit that includes a 2.9 synchro manifold which I'm told is better flowing than the standard obd1 inlet(similar to rads?) but will also work with the obd2 conversion.. Well I hope so haha. Dizzy obd1, converting to obd2 coil pack:)

    Engine removal

    Thanks Bealieboy. Decided I'm converting to obd2 before I remove the engine so I know it all works before I start taking it to bits. Wish me luck!

  10. What gearbox do you plan to run? I would imagine all that low down grunt will soon eat a standard box.

    Actually, knowing cabbs attention to detail, I wouldn't mind putting a time lapse camera on an engine change that he took on. Now that could make some entertaining "you've been framed" style TV! [emoji23] Good luck with yours cooz, should be like child's play for you by the looks of your brakes thread! [emoji106]

  16. Wouldn't it be a cheaper and easier option to just buy a decent vr6? Saves all the ball ache of swapping stuff over don't it?
