Finally got my interior in after fitting the rear speaker and tweeter pods into the new quarter cards; Used this to glue the speaker pods to the back, brilliant stuff!! Then bolted it all in;

Hi everyone , thought I'd say hi and Introuduce myself & the old girl ( shes called Old Dirty Bit£$ at the moment) I'm Elliot and bought a low mile (ish 91k) , short MOT , unmolested , orgional rims included , unloved obd1 VR6 back in late May , laquer peel , blue dash & interior (urgh) , little bit of rust but solid , engine pulled great , the usual niggles at 23 ... part of me was saying walk away the other part was telling me someone needs to save her. Hiya all I've not done any shows for last 6 yrs shocking really as was a die hard for it,but Nxt year the plan is to re live the whole circuit and with the car completely finished she's just been sat and covered up for last 6yrs

Finally in, I also decided to make up a slide for a bit of ventilation as I still need to drive the car to and from Pod at the moment!

Made up some templates to get the doors going, the rear window was always going to be a bit of an arse Next it was time to get the pins on so I could get full access to the engine easily and also jack up the front to warm up my gearbox and preserve the life of my slicks when parked up

Need to get signed up to the vr6oc but is there room for one more ? If so id deffo take the space as im camping all weekend so would be nice to get the rado on there after its full rebuild

Finally got around to ordering up my Lexan and managed to get all the bits cut from one sheet so that kept down costs. Its not pretty but for a first try at doing it all Im quite happy with the results

I'll still be on the stand just not with my car ,it may well be on the road by then just don't want to take a space that I might not fill, How about a new reserve list for ,,if my car is ready I'll be there?

Full stands is what we need guys, please don't be put off if your car is not show room condition and spends most of the year locked away. We wan't dailies, rats whatever as long as your a 6 pot! We are not the sort of club to judge anyone's car. We just want the support from our members! The Mod team and events organisers have been putting in the effort to be let down at the last minute on a few occasions and don't worry we know in some circumstances its unavoidable!
