Hi Bealieboy Yes, if its serviceable and air tight, it would do me a turn. I have used dish washer tablets and Laundry stain remover to good effect in the past. What`s the best thing to do?1 point

There is a lot of different opinions as to when this pump should be running and if it's needed at all. After much reading and revision I managed to get to the bottom of it. The vr cylinder head also acts as an exhaust manifold for the front three cylinders and so tents to run hot. The secondary pumps job is to assist the circulation off coolant around the head during running and for a short period after engine switch off to stop any localised overheating. the purpose of the after run feature is to keep the coolant circulating around the head while the hot engine cools. Without this the coolan1 point -

Most people running about 10psi boost run about 315cc to 349cc or anywhere inbetween. The map on ECU can be written to work with any flow injectors so long as there roughly around the right flow. Higher boost around 15 psi use roughly 440cc injectors Even higher again about 20-25psi boost roughly 630cc. Length of injectors are 68mm if I remember right. And EV1 or EV6 injectors will work, EV6 are meant to atomise better. Injectors use the standard 2pin connector type. Also injector flow can be changed with different fuel regulators. e.g. 339cc at 3bar pressure, or 391cc at 4bar pressur1 point

That's a pretty low comment Kev, also misleading and derogatory. Matt has done some pretty ground breaking stuff as far as writing software is concerned and a long way off old skool chips that you refer to; that coupled with his involvement in building some of the fastest VR6 and Audi RS cars in the world makes him more qualified than most on here to make any of the factual statements he makes and in turn sets his opinion apart from the rest which is valued by most users on here.1 point
