Going to get these wheels on the car then I'll decide whether to hord sorry keep the comps just in case I change my mind......... I'm gonna need a bigger shed I think[emoji15]. Yeah I'll try to put a little how to together, the only problem is, it takes a long time in between colour/clearcoats for it to dry properly and you really need to do it with 2 pack lacquer so it drys as hard as the surrounding lacquer, as 1k lacquer will never dry as hard and it just polish's away if you get what I'm trying to say........... basically it's a right ball ache!3 points

that was the only tyre our suppliers had in stock in 195/40 17, though I may get brave and try a 185/35 17 which would be almost the same rolling radius as my 195/40 16's on there now, only nankang make those though! I don't want to have to wind my coilies up that's against my religion![emoji23]2 points

Hi you will probably be best off going for an oe one and keeping your eye out on eBay would probably be your best bet trying to find one, though they are quite rare and tend to go for £150+, hope that helps[emoji106]2 points -

Nice wheels mate Price on the Gold ones maybe?? However what I really wan't (if you get the time between fitting wheels) is a write up or little how to on how you took on the stone chips. After a chat at VW Festival you said you dabbed a few in and flattened them back. The finish was perfect... A little guide maybe I could make a sticky in the body work section!! Need to do my own but no matter how I do it they end up looking like a teenagers forehead fuck sake... Also have a massive key scratch on my 300 I want to tidy up.... Only if you don't mind sharing your secrets chap..2 points

Thing is mate I am planning on stripping this engine bare and rebuilding it with a much higher spec and once rebuilt it will only run on race fuel, the stand was the best one I could get so fingers crossed it will hold. It's only gonna be in the stand for about a week then it's gonna all be in pieces and cleaned I am just researching all my options for cleaning and increasing the piston size.1 point

Oh yeah, hark who's talking, or should I say sleep talking?! I won't embarrass you publicly Ben, but you did have rather a lot to say for yourself that night in your sleep. It must have been the wife beater/ bulmers combo! [emoji23]1 point

After that she pretty much sat on the drive or locked away for around 18 months. I don't think this did the car any favours at all to be honest. However she did fit in with the rest of our cars rather nicely! After cleaning the car a few times I noticed small amounts of rust etc arches wings and such so decided a respray was in order. I tried none original wings and they failed looked like shite. However I have seen how these can be fitted to a top notch standard since. So my views have changed. However I paid a small fortune for genuine. This was her all prepped waiting to go to the1 point
