Coming on grand now bud! Chains where recently done on the car I bought. This was one of the big things that swayed me to buy it. So this is probably why I seem a little further ahead. The mass confusion was both gaskets being made by VR.... If you have a 3mm spacer you want a tripple layer gasket 021 103 383 N. Which is what I needed. After a few calls with the Guru VIW28 Gethin its sorted. Glad that is behind me!

Its a 3mm bud! I use dragon powder coaters http://www.dragonpowdercoating.co.uk/ Recommended to me bya pal of mine who is a civic and vag nut lol but he has loads done there. Dropped my brembos, top chain cover, alternator bracket & rear engine mount in to be done in brilliant white and he said roughly £80 sheets! Wasted more than that on gaskets this week alone F**K sake hahahaha!

Is this post actually serious given what was said? Ebay and 1000whp in the same sentence? I can tell you what you need but don't be thinking about using other engine parts in the bottom end of something to handle that amount of power as it's asking for trouble from the start! As for what you need in general - have an entire good condition engine ready and every mm checked, stock crank can stay, forged everything else and massively modded head - 8-8.5k you can do but with the undersquare engine it's only really for the gears as you'll be flying through them on your SQS or once a week O2M
