You'll almost defiantly need one guaranteed. Do you have the AMS style bracket? If so, you'll need 115mm alternator bolts and some spacers too... In all fairness, doesn't look too much to knock up something basic like below; Or dual idler pulley like I have. Happy to draw the outline and provide some dimensions to you.

Either use the 2.8 based everything or 3.2, such a massive overbore will split the walls/liner at the bottom the second any half decent power is made. Sorry for the lack of posts recently, been a busy year so far. Since I last post I have been busy on the golf, still nothing done noting about looking into the shallow sump yet, but I have now got myself a quad grill, upgraded the rear calipers to mk4 golf spec and just general tarting and tidying up, but the best thing has to be is when I collected these from been trimmed Unfortunately, recently I have been consider parting with the golf due to funding a house.
